It is one of the fastest growing cities in the country, and has a very unique and diverse population consisting of professors, students, politicians, lobbyists, and high tech workers, but may be most well known for it's musician's and music venues, as it is known as the "Live Music Capital of the World".

Frank Erwin Center - located on the campus of the University of Texas, it is home to the Texas Longhorn's basketball program

Balboa Park - the largest cultural park in the United States, home to various attractions including museums, theatres, gardens, parks, restauarants, and of course the San Diego zoo. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
San Diego Zoo - one of the largest zoos in the worled, known for being progressive, houses 800 species and 4,000 animals.
Qualcomm Stadium -
home to the San Diego Charges and San Diego State University Aztecs.
Petco Park - An open air statidum opened in 1994, home to major league baseball's San Diego Padres. The stadium is named after the animal and pet retail chain PETCO which is also based in San Diego.
